Camera Phone Pics!
I thought I would do one of those really fun and exciting posts where I show you all of the pictures that I have taken recently with my phone...
First, on the 4th (of July, that is) a bunch of us got together at my in-laws' beach house to watch fireworks. Before they all started, we spent some time playing out on the beach. This is my SIL, Elizabeth, and you can see my dorky self and my brother in the bottom left (I was showing him my cool app):
One random Saturday, Brad and I had to take all three kids appliance shopping for the new house -- that was a barrel of fun. They were pretty well behaved, though, so we treated them to lunch afterward, and Gibson took a weird picture of Brad:
One day while the kids were with the sitter, they met up with some friends and all got some face painting done!
We spent a lot of time at the beach toward the end of the summer (I can't believe it is the end of the summer..part of me is sad; part is happy). I got some normal pics and some groovy ones:
Tyler and I got our eyes checked and both had to get our eyes dilated. She had to wear these funny paper sunglasses-things under her glasses because she didn't have any real ones to protect her eyes when we left. She looked hilarious!
And then we had Sanders birthday. We spent the day at the pool with Margaret and Ben, and their kids. Margaret bought birthday donuts for Sanders, and even put candles in them!
So, that was really fun, huh?

Just a Little Something for My Wish List
On the wedding circuit this spring, I noticed many a Tory Burch clutch, and I decided that I need one. However, with my husband, Mr. Spreadsheet, crunching away at how much we are spending on our house and freaking out constantly, I can't justify just going out and getting one.
So, I am adding it to my wish list! And, really, I'm not picky! I love pretty much any of them:

Every good Clemson fan needs an orange clutch!!

What say you? Which is your fave??

Spectacular SIX!!!
Someone in our house turned six yesterday! I can't believe that it was six years ago that Miss Sanders joined our family -- really, I don't know what we did without her little, sassy self!
To celebrate, Brad and I both took the day off, and we spent a fun-filled day at the pool with our friends Margaret, Ben, Grayson, Emma Claire, and Whitt. Sanders asked for fun things like Barbies and My Little Ponies for her birthday, and she kept claiming that it was "the best birthday ever!" I guess you can't ask for anything better than that!!
Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl!!

Hello, Again!
I am alive! The kids and I have been trying to enjoy a little bit of summer while I have been working at the same time, so we have been resembling on of Gibson's bouncy balls -- back and forth between our house and the beach. Half the time we don't know if we are coming or going, or where we are spending the night from one night to the next.

We still aren't seeing too much of Brad, and I am sooooo past ready for life to return to "normal." I am tired of the single parent thing. I am also trying to be patient, because I know the longer Brad works long, hard hours, the longer he is making money -- but that doesn't make life any easier, really.

The end does seem to be in sight, though, so that is a good thing! Maybe these dark circles under my eyes can finally go away! Just in time for school to start...

The house is coming along nicely, we have some birthdays coming up in our house, we have some friends coming to visit soon, and a lot more going on to blog about -- hopefully I can get back to it now! Don't give up on me!!

(All of these pictures are from waaaaaayyyy back at the beginning of the summer, and for some reason, half of them didn't upload to Blogger...grrr...)

All I Want for Chrithmath...
Look who lotht her two front teeth!!!
Sanders lost the first top tooth quite a while ago, and the second one has been dangling for weeks now. Many people volunteered to pull it for her, but Sanders said that she wanted to wait for her daddy to pull the tooth. Last night we went to visit him, and the two of them huddled in the bathroom together, and she pulled it herself! She was so proud and excited and wanted to call everyone she had ever met -- you would have thought it was the first tooth she had ever lost, and not her fourth.
Today she is talking with a definite lisp. She got in the car this morning and said something about the "theatbelt." I kept asking her to repeat it, and she did so, patiently, until she realized that I was just messing with her. Then we all laughed and made her say lots of words that have the "s" sound in them.

I am sure that she will have her two front teeth before Christmas, but for now, we are enjoying singing "All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" in July! (Now try not to sing that all day!)

Boys Will Be...Crazy
I took the kids to the J.Crew outlet on Sunday, and it tooks us an hour plus car ride to get there. Gibson slept the entire way, and I had to wake him up once we got to the store. In order to keep the peace, I gave him my iPhone so he could play games while the girls and I browsed.
After we had an armful of clothes, the four of us headed back to the dressing rooms to try everything on. Of course, the large dressing room was unavailable (it probably had all of one person in it), so we all had to squeeze into one tiny little dressing room. The girls and I were all trying things on, but I knew better than to ask Gibson to try any of the clothes on that I had grabbed for him, so he still entertained himself with my phone. At one point I looked down, and Gibson was lying on the floor, halfway in our dressing room and halfway in the hall.
He was taking pictures of the people waiting to get into dressing rooms!
Then, he jumps back into our dressing room, and said, in a really loud voice, "Mommy, I just took pictures of people I don't know!"
Great...So, not only was he being a Peeping Tom, but he also decided to announce it to the entire store. At least, to my knowledge, they don't call the police on 3-year-old Peeping Toms; we'll just have to work on that before he gets older!
