Happy Anniversary!

Eight years ago this evening, The Farmer and I got married. Eight years -- that just sounds like such a long time to me, but, of course, it is a drop in the bucket compared to how long my parents and grandparents have been married! The night we got married was cold and rainy, but nothing could ruin our excitement to start out lives together. Now, eight years later, we have three beautiful kids and a lot of great memories, and we are making more memories every day.

As I told The Farmer in the card that I gave him this morning, I have loved sharing the last 8 years with him, and I am looking forward to the next 80!

Weren't we just so young and cute?!?! And, yes, we really did leave our reception in a tractor -- I bet there aren't many people who can say that! And don't worry -- it had a major bath before I got in it in my white dress!
